Armour: 2in deck, 4.5in guns. Crew: 318. Guardship, then depot ship Southampton 1914-18. Sold 25.10.21 Multilocular S. Bkg Co, resold 18.12.22, became training ship WARSPITE, BU 9.40 Ward, Gray. Launched 7/11/93, recommissioned in July 1913 to relieve Melpomene in West Atlantic; relieved July 1914 by Bristol and then paid off. In August 1914 she became guardship at Southampton, but from December 1916 served as HQ ship for motor launches (MLs) and coastal motor boats (CMBs), a duty which ended in 1919. Sold in October 1921 but resold to Marine Society in 1922 and became TS Warspite in December 1922. Sold for BU in September 1940. (Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships 1906-21)

[Typically at around 9am Divisions, at around 4pm Evening Quarters and Exercised physical drill. They note in the logs which of the ship’s boilers are in use and when fires are lit in the boats. The hands spend a lot of time cleaning the ship and also painting. There are often training classes at instruction. On Sunday morning they have Divine Service or if in port they land Church Parties. When at sea over night exercise sea boat’s crew and close water tight doors. About once a week they test the life buoys.]
