HMS
FRANKLIN continued deployment
in Home waters including assistance
during mine clearance operations as
well
as post war survey requirements. The
ship remained in
service until 1955 when Paid-off and
reduced to Reserve
status.
She was placed on the Disposal List in
1956 and sold to
BISCO for demolition by Clayton and
Davie at Dunston.
